High School Internship

We are accepting applications for the EPIC High School Student Internship Program!

Program Details

This program will include, but not limited to:

  • Research training and experience in psychology and education
  • Assisting with data collection and data analysis
  • Reading and analyzing academic articles
  • Writing blog posts based on academic research
  • Supporting researchers at EPIC with additional project-related tasks

 

Program Duration

Academic Year (with a possibility of extension based on need and performance) 

 

When

By cohort at the participants’ convenient time

 

Location:

This is a remote internship. Meetings will be on Zoom.

 

Workload:

About 2-4 hours per week

 

Who is eligible to apply:

High school students (9th to 12th grade) are eligible to apply

For example, such beliefs have been shown to be a major factor steering students away from taking science and math courses in high school and college. In the present study, we tested a novel story-based instruction that models how scientists achieve through failures and struggles.
